The island of Jersey is becoming a world renowned location for fine dining. The experience is a celebration of what the island has to offer both in food and accommodation. The islands three Michelin starred restaurants have teamed up to offer a luxury getaway and here at Hero & Leander we couldn’t be more excited. The Ocean Restaurant at The Atlantic Hotel is headed up by Executive Chef Mark Jordan. We had the pleasure of sampling his excellent cuisine at a recent lunch at The Park Tower Knightsbridge hotel and it is exemplary. Ocean has retained its Michelin star since its awarding back in 2007 and was this year given four Rosettes in the AA Restaurant Guide 2016. The decor of this coastal restaurant echoes its surroundings with blues and whites being the predominate colour. Mark’s menu samples the very best that Jersey has to offer and as you look out over the deep blue you are left under no illusion just how fresh your course is.

Shaun Rankin’s restaurant Ormer ensures that local produce is championed throughout the entire menu. Read our in-depth review of Ormer Restaurant here. Ormer is a fantastic dining destination that is not overly fussy yet very stylish and deliciously delectable. You almost feel as though you have stepped back in time onto the Mad Men set.

Steve Smith is the head chef over at Bohemia and since the age of 24 has held a Michelin Star running over 15 years. This year the restaurant featured in the Sunday Times’ top 50 restaurants in the UK. Again, Bohemia’s menu really takes advantage of the islands unique setting and ingredient rich surroundings.
