But here at Hero & Leander we like to do things with a twist- so with that in mind we have come up with a delicious twist on the traditional sangria recipe, adding Acai liqueur and apricot juice. So what are you waiting for? Dust off that old red in the cupboard and get mixing!

  • Ice Cubes
  • 1-2 Oranges
  • 1 Lemon sliced
  • Sprigs of fresh mint
  • 500ml Red Wine
  • 250ml Apricot Juice
  • 200ml Lemonade
  • 150ml Fair Acai Liqueur

Method

  • Add the ice cubes to a dainty jug and add the orange cut into segments and the lemon slices. Smush together with the fresh mint sprigs.
  • Add the red wine, apricot juice, lemonade and Acia Liqueur.
  • Stir
  • Pour into mason jars and garnish with an orange segment and a mint sprig.
  • Drink
