Another romantic option is the ‘Romance at Sunset’ trip on Mondays. This adult’s only trip involves cocktails on-board while watching the sunset, followed by a candlelit dinner.

Guests from all four Veranda Resorts hotels can book trips on the catamaran. The group trips depart from Veranda Paul & Virginie, an adult’s only hotel, popular with couples. The hotel is named after Paul et Virginie from Bernardin de St-Pierre’s novel, who are often referred to as the Mauritian equivalent of Romeo and Juliet. This intimate hotel oozes romance, with double sunbeds and love seats scattered through the grounds. There is also a thatched gazebo overlooking the turquoise lagoon, a perfect spot for a Valentine’s Day drink, or perhaps even a proposal. Couples truly are at the centre of this magnificent resort.
