Aqua at The Shard
First on our list is Aqua located in Renzo Piano’s The Shard. This building, Europe’s tallest, has quickly gained favourability in the London skyline and the restaurant certainly doesn’t disappoint. The high space and glass facades allow for a fantastic panoramic view of the city that makes you feel almost as if you are in a film or some sort of virtual reality experience. Arrive early so that you can enjoy their cocktail bar, although you might have trouble gazing in to one another’s eyes when there are sights to spot.

Benugo, The Serpentine – Hyde Park
Sat amongst the serenity of Hyde Park, the Serpentine bar and kitchen is the only ground level pick amongst our list. However, jutting out on to the Serpentine, we simply couldn’t ignore this one. A delightful location to relax on a bright summer’s afternoon with a relaxing lunch. Afterward why not hire a rowing boat for an afternoon’s floating on the lake….

Ever since this restaurants’s opening in 1996 the OXO tower has become a household name for restaurants with an A-grade view. Overlooking the Thames and enjoying vistas that include St. Pauls, this is certainly one for an early evening dinner whilst watching the sunset and the night lights of London come to life.
“The interior features a unique ceiling with blue neon lights, creating a beautiful moonlit effect in the evenings. Leather-clad bars and slate tables add to the subtly luxurious feel. The OXO Tower Restaurant serves beautifully presented modern British dishes while the OXO Brasserie’s open plan kitchen produces bold and flavoursome British dishes.” – OXO Tower.

Rhubarb at Sky Garden
Sitting aloft London’s most recently completed skyscraper nicknamed the walkie-talkie is this delightful, not one but two restaurants sat amongst the Sky Garden, 155 metres above the London pavements. There simply is no location like it in London and the very best of British inspired menu at the Darwin Brasserie is a fantastic way to accompany the London skyline. For those who prefer a little more sense of occasion the restaurant tilted Fenchurch Street is more upmarket dining serving a great variety of meat and fish produce.

Duck & Waffle
Atop the 40 storey skyscraper in Bishopsgate is Duck & Waffle. Ever since launching in 2012 it has created a name for itself as being of the most sought after seats in the capital. The menu is inspired from British and European fare and we are certain that your other half will certainly not be disappointed when taken here.
