The London lingerie scene is full of exciting brands and we’re looking at our favourite five, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Alex Popa has created a unique lingerie brand that mixes bondage with beauty, elegance with desire. Meaning house of ill repute in French, its design is memorable, provocative and never without a reaction. Established in 2009, Bordelle sells across the world alongside brands such as Lane Crawford and Tsum, and is created in the brands own atelier in London.
Alongside their regular lingerie range they also feature swimwear, bridal and accessories in their lines. Their Ultimate Bespoke service is for the clientèle whose imagination is a little more luxuriously kinky.

Coco de Mer
Coco de Mer’s SS16 collection is inspired by Tim Burton’s new film, Through the Looking Glass. They have moved through Wonderland ‘Wonderlust’. That undulating period of uncertainty in a relationship. The collections photography is all captured by Rankin, the world renowned photographer.
Curiosa is inspired by the idea of looking through the keyhole and features a tattoo tulle with floral motif to conceal parts of the body. Lilly features Jean Bracq lace and silk georgette in contrasting colours. Tassels dangle into peep holes of knickers and the fitted skirt with an elegant black silk waistband can be worn as an outerpiece.

From the beginnings of a small boutique in Notting Hill, Myla has now grown to a worldwide brand. Utilising luxury fabrics, many of the crafting techniques that Myla use are centuries old and exclusive to them.
“Everything we do is designed to empower the Myla woman, to express herself in a way that is right for her, instead of attempting to impose a role or persona upon her. We aim for nothing less than to make her feel more beautiful, more confident, than ever before. “
