This October, discover some of the capital’s best Japanese restaurants have to offer with Suntory Whisky’s Japanese Journey. Returning for 2016’s London Restaurant Festival, the restaurant hopping tour is a whirlwind taste exploration of five dishes at five different Japanese restaurants all paired with a Hakushu whisky highball, taking place all in one day.

Launched last year to great popularity, the Japanese Journey will once again be a culinary odyssey through some of the city’s best Japanese venues. For £49.00, customers will receive a ‘passport’ to visit five of London’s top Japanese restaurants, where, at each location, they will feast on a dish specially-created for the Festival which is each perfectly paired with a Hakushu Highball – a long refreshing serve of Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve whisky with soda and a sprig of mint.

Originally created to compliment the unique Japanese palate and cuisine, Suntory whiskies retain their flavour when mixed with water or soda.  Today, the Suntory highball is the most popular whisky serve in the izakayas of Tokyo. From Suntory’s mountain forest distillery, Hakushu is the fresh and gently smoky single malt whisky with herbal notes that enlivens any dining experience.
